Safari in Kenya is by no means a holiday that is easy to forget as it is one of the most memorable experiences one can possibly have in his or her lifetime. It is not only a trip or a vacation but is also an appreciation to some of the most iconic and glorious animals that are found in the world in their true natural surroundings. The real threat comes from deforestation in the Mao River region to the north and a government that does not know how to respond to the situation. The Great Migration will be lost, not because of tourists, but because of a dying river caused by corrupt and ineffectual leaders who do not have the will to protect their greatest natural resource.

i totally understand the need to keep things as you found it.. but complaining about ships mooring on the shores of antartica is bad for the ecosystem?.. it makes you lose all credibility in your picture about africa.

Masai Mara

The Masai Mara in Kenya, the northern continuation of Serengeti national park, is one of the most storied large game reserves in Africa. Unfortunately, it is also losing animal species at an unprecedented rate according to a 2009 study. An average day for a big cat in this reserve means being almost constantly surrounded by tourists on safari.
