No offense, but you spelled pollution wrong.
As the article states, the Taj Mahal is mainly damaged by air pollution. And while tourism may contribute to the pullition, it certainly isn't the main contributor. Agra is a city of 1,6 million people where, like a lot of big cities in India, the traffic is totally crazy. The streets are totally clogged with motor-rikshas, cars, busses and scooters.
