Batu Caves

Near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia is a shrine dedicated to Lord Murugan, a Hindu god of war. Many of the caves are filled with Hindu statues and paintings, while others still remain untouched, teeming with vibrant wildlife. Underneath the main Temple Cave is another known as the Dark Cave, with marvelous formations and unique species. Visitors may access the undeveloped cave via coordinated trips with the Malaysian Nature Society.
