Morocco's stunning “Blue Pearl” is known for its blue-accented homes. Tourists flock here, seduced by pictures of the beautiful skyline and narrow medina walkways.

Yes, the vibe is actually pretty relaxed here compared with other Moroccan tourist cities like hectic Fez and crowded Rabat. However, Chefchaouen is also on the edge of Morocco's marijuana-growing region, so street hustlers everywhere will follow tourists, offering drugs and ignoring any negative responses.
