All April, Aveda
's been raising money for clean water around the world
with its eco-friendly candle packaged in recycled glass and cardboard -- so it seems fitting that the company is now getting recognized for its green products. Aveda's offically the first beauty company to get the Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C)
sustainability endorsement, earning Gold Level certification for seven of its products and Silver Level certification for its eco-friendly packaging!
The C2C certification recognizes a product's enviro-sensitivity, with a focus on eliminating all waste. The seven certified products, pictured above, are Aveda Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner, Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner; Aveda Men Pure-Formance Shampoo and Conditioner, and Green Science Firming Face Creme.
