Don't cry over lost luggageIsthisyourluggage.com attempts to reunite luggage losers with their orphaned stuff. Fri, Jun 26 2009 at 2:22 AM EST
Lost your luggage? Before you go out and buy a whole new suitcase-full of replacement goods, first stop by Isthisyourluggage.com.
![]() According to Wired, this altruistic-voyeuristic project is the brainchild of one Luna Laboo, an art director who’s “bought $227 worth of unclaimed luggage at airport auctions and photographed it.” Says Laboo on his website:
Her hobby's an eco-friendly one, too — or at least could be, if people actually find their luggage through it. Reuniting people with their stuff could keep them from buying more stuff — thereby preventing unnecessary carbon emissions — and put their money toward better uses.
Even if your voyeuristic passions don’t run as deep as Luna’s, the suitcase contents are pretty fascinating to look at. Aren’t you a bit curious about the owner of the black suitcase above — with its nurse’s outfit complete with cap, bikini and prim high-wasted dress?
