If you like the off-the-shoulder look — but fear your top will fall off the shoulder then off of you — here’s an eco-friendly look to try. The Lilikoi Inga Top
looks like a regular, on-both-shoulders top — but has a wide neck that’ll move as you move, sometimes slipping into an asymmetrical look.
The semi off-the-shoulder look may be accidental since the Lilikoi Inga Top isn’t described as an off-the-shoulder top. Perhaps the tops just run a bit big, which makes the small gray top I got slip off the shoulder when I’m not standing still. If you don't want the top to slip, try going a size smaller than usual. But I like the subtle slip-off feature — which goes well with the asymmetrical white and black ginkgo leaves print — and the comfortable fit!
Made of viscose from bamboo, organic cotton, and spandex, the top has a luxurious, thick feel with a great drape. Plus, the top’s designed, printed, cut, and sewn in Canada, “by local employees who are well paid for their skill,” according to Lilikoi’s website
I got my Lilikoi Inga Top from Ecolissa
, a new eco-friendly and vegan women’s online fashion boutique that opened its digital doors on Sep. 1. The Lilikoi Inga Top
usually costs $70 — but you can use the coupon code “30percent” to get 30 percent off your entire purchase at Ecolissa until Jan. 1.
