Eco-friendly reading glasses
Reading glasses usually aren’t thought of as sexy fashion statements, ICU Eyewear’s come out with some very cute designs — that are eco-friendly to boot!
Yes, the lenses are still going to be plastic — but the frames are made of sustainable bamboo, recycled metal and reclaimed plastic. If I needed reading glasses, I might opt for this squarish bamboo pair to the right.
These glasses cost between $23-$63 and can be found online as well as at Anthropologie, Whole Foods Market, and many other stores. Not all ICU Eyewear glasses are eco, however; read the tags closely to make sure you’re getting the eco-pair you desire.
