4 new cities will hold these monthly sustainable business networking events -- which are free in the first quarter of 2010.

Eager to make more green business contacts in the new year? Head over to EcoTuesday, monthly green networking events that are starting up in four more cities this year — and free to attend the first quarter of 2010!

EcoTuesday happens on the fourth Tuesday of each month in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley, and South East Michigan / Detroit — with new Dallas and Portland events starting in January, Berkeley and Cleveland in February. These events may be especially helpful for slightly shy would-be-networkers, because the networking’s more structured. In addition to casually mingling over cocktails, EcoTuesday attendees get to quickly introduce themselves and their project in an organized format. Each event also features a green business speaker to inspire and enlighten.

Usually, EcoTuesday events cost about $25 — but the gatherings will be free in January, February, and March in celebration of EcoTuesday’s third anniversary. RSVP for the next event in your town now!

Thanks so much for writing about EcoTuesday! Usually the events are $10 each month, not $25. We hope that everyone who is either already interested in sustainability will join us, in addition to those who are just getting their feet wet in this blossoming area of business. Thanks!
