Holstee's new T-shirt and dress take pockets to a whole new level

Hemp and organic cotton clothes fulfill a joyful manifesto.

Holstee is a company on a manifesto-driven mission. Literally. The small eco fashion and accessories label, which was started by three friends in the summer of 2009 as a side project has now blossomed into a full-blown business, with a significant give-back aspect to it.

And their eco bona fides are serious. The dress and shirt shown below are cut, sewn and garment dyed in Los Angeles, made from a supersoft organic cotton and hemp mix (both fabrics have lower environmental impact) and comes, as you can see from the pictures, with minimal packaging (as it packs into its own pocket). Their other products (like a wallet, reversible alpaca hat, a messenger bag, and more, are equally uniquely styled, affordably priced, and, most green of all, stuff you would actually use and wear.

The Holstee Original T-shirt (shown in the top image) comes in blue or green with contrasting pockets and is a modern slim cut, designed to become the favorite T-shirt in your closet.

The Holstee dress, as shown above, comes in black and white, and is just the right length to wear with jeans, leggings, or a short skirt. The pocket is perfect for your phone or MP3 player, or just a place to put your hand when you don't know what else to do with it!

An example of one of the Holstee pockets; each of the above shirts and dresses comes in a pocket with a fun message like this one.
