Tara Frey went to her prom in style — Starburst style. Her mom Kerrin made her prom dress plus some accessories like a handbag and Tara’s date’s vest from Starburst wrappers. For six years she’s been collecting wrappers, folding them meticulously, and weaving them into this dress that’s actually incredibly adorable.
I’m trying not to think about the fact that all of those candies had to be eaten to get the wrappers because honestly, I love this prom dress. What do you think of this creative way to reuse food packaging? (Let the debate about whether Starbursts are actually food begin.)
