It says in the "almonds" section to check with your allergist to see if you're allergic to tree nuts. Almonds are not a tree nut, just like peanuts aren't (peanuts are legumes). Almonds are a seed. My brother had severe allergic reactions to tree nuts all his life. Never to almonds or peanuts. It's a common misunderstanding.
