Women in Green Forum
Missed the Women of the Green Generation conference in Los Angeles? Here's a second chance to learn, share, and network with other green women this summer. Women in Green Forum is back -- with a more impressive line of speakers and panels, training workshops, and lots of hobnobbing opportunities.

For this year's event, Women in Green Forum's upped the fun factor -- especially since the conference has been moved to take place just blocks from the beach at the Sheraton Delfina, a Santa Monica's first green-certified luxury hotel. In addition to the usual coffee breaks and lunches, attendees will get to take clean vehicle test-drives, shop at an eco-boutique, and socialize at a poolside happy hour.

When: Aug. 30 and 31, 2011
Where: Santa Monica Sheraton, 530 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA
Cost: $275 for general admission

The event seeks to become an international affair -- with attendees expected to represent countries including Indonesia, Slovenia, Uruguay, Greece, among others -- and the speaker and presenter list has gotten correspondingly more impressive too. Women in all aspects of the green movement -- from eco-fashion designers to sustainability officers at Fortune 500 companies -- will take the stage. Among them will be Corrie Martin, director of operations for the Clinton Climate Initiative's C40/Cities Program, president of the Biomimicry Institute Janine Benyus, and Dionysia-Theodora Avgerinopoulou, member of the Hellenic Parliament.

Hope to see you there!
