Created in 1928, Future Farmers of America (FFA) was originally focused on helping young farmers develop agricultural production skills. Today’s FFA has grown to include all aspects of the industry, so young people can apply their interests in science, business, technology and research to agriculture and the environment.
Thanks in part to the support of CSX, one of the leading transportation companies in North America, FFA continues to inspire young people to explore opportunities for growth, leadership and learning in the environmental sciences. With a shared commitment to protecting our natural resources and building strong communities, CSX and FFA are committed to helping educate and develop our nation’s future leaders.
In this video, you’ll meet a few of the young people involved with FFA and hear how the program has created a positive impact on them, their communities and the planet.
