I am a small business person in the roofing industry. In the recent past, 4 years ago, I placed a small add in the Yellow Pages. Today, March 12, 2013, I received a call from that ad. Apparently individuals are holding on to their old books and refusing new deliveries. This is good for the Earth and for longevity in advertising for businesses. Incidentally, there are millions of citizens that do not have Internet or smart phones who need to find businesses to take care of their needs.
Phone book?
Get rid of them. Last time I used the white pages of a phone book was maybe eight years ago. If I need a number for someone I have a handy dandy phone to save it in. and if I need a number I can use my handy dandy phone to search for it online. Why ever would I need to search for someone's phone number in the phone book when I can easily have it saved to my phone?
