While the board notes several important ESA actions, including the reintroduction of the wolf into Yellowstone. Sadly, special interests and a few less than reputable Members of Congress just slipped language into the massive FY11 spending bill that exempts the gray wolf from vital protections under the ESA. Never before have special interests and legislative action led to the removal of a species from the ESA. A tragic shame. So much for Republicans whining about how environmentalists need to "
