Sniffle season has arrived and is taking our allergies and immune systems hostage. In the winter time especially, problems with our allergies and the threat of the flu are never ceasing.

 

Never underestimate the power of vitamins and supplements. Vitamin C is one of the best fighters against allergies and other detriments during the flu season and holistic remedies like bee pollen can also aid in your recovery.

If you feel like you are getting sick and have received your flu shot, remember simple things like getting plenty of rest, staying home for at least 24 hours if and when you are running a fever, avoiding crowded places, covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough and avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth to prevent the spread of germs.

 

 

Being sick is no picnic, especially during this crucial time. Make sure you receive your flu shot before your immune system is taken prisoner and keep all the facts of staying healthy in mind before venturing out into the allergy war of winter.
