Resurrection Bay is located on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska. Its name came from a storm in the 1700s that forced merchant and trader Alexandr Baranov into the bay until the storm settled on Easter Sunday. Today, tourists can visit the bay to see wildlife including birds, seals and orcas.
