A greener Christmas list
Dear Saint Nick: Here is my wish list for Christmas and the new year.

Dear ol' Saint Nicholas,
Here's my wish list for Christmas and the new year, with a dose of poetry to enjoy:
I want to live longer, be healthier, be a stable being,
Surrounded by the comfort of all the things that make our environment a safer, more secure place,
Santa, all I want for Christmas is the vehicle that depletes stuffy air,
A home that's refurnished by organic material to prove how much I truly care,
So much that I want people to stare and wonder,
How big of a difference did she make with the all-natural products she got for her hair?
Could you not give the battery-controlled electronics this year? Make them solar-powered,
Heat-generated, and could you also eliminate the tobacco smoke from all public areas
That causes my asthma to reappear,
Because the medication always makes me sick and tear.
The life I'd love to live is seemingly so far away, as I write you, my Santa, the list today,
Greener grass and healthier trees to eliminate the clouds of smoke I walk into while roaming the streets.
How to be green should be the new thing for 2010,
Please place plenty of nature's resources amongst your sled.
To educate on Mother Nature's importance;
How she is so helpless without the helping hand of thee.
Santa, Santa, I know there is only so much you can do,
But take this as my wish list — better yet, my prayer and plea.
