Dorm room view: No fall colors in Hawaii

The view from my dorm room is the perfect example of how Hawaii's leaves don't change in the autumn.

One aspect mainlanders miss most when they come to Hawaii for a long-term visit is the changing of the seasons. Hawaii's trees don't undergo the usual fall transformation into the beautiful orange and red leaves. (A small price to pay for living in paradise!)
