Our natural deficit

Here's a book about what could be the greatest crisis since the Great Depression ... and it has nothing to do with money.
 
The author, Richard Louv, recently spoke at the Chicago Zoological Society (CZS) and has inspired projects for the organization Chicago Wilderness.
 
In response to Last Child in the Woods, which coins the phrase "nature-deficit disorder" and outlines the dangers of children raised on technology rather than tree-climbing -- Chicago Wilderness issued a Children's Outdoor Bill of Rights as part of a larger effort called Leave No Child Inside.
 
All in all, it's an interesting topic for parents or anyone concerned about the future of our planet!
