We all know about the near death of the California condor, but what of the Condor louse?
I stumbled upon this article in the Washington Post. Despite its seriousness, I find it oddly hilarious.
Basically, the article talks about how endangered animals that look good on T-shirts tend to get more funding then less club-savvy animals, and how that practice may be starting to change.
I'm not sure why, but the idea of some endangered species being revered for their good looks over others is morbidly comic. Take a look and let me know what you think.
