Greetings Earthlings! I can't even begin to describe how stressed I am right now. I'm frantically searching for an apartment that will fit my ridiculous standards, I've got two more big finals, and I'm leaving for Boulder in two weeks with three months of clothes and bedding on my back! Not to mention the semester's worth of recycling (from about eight different people) that I need to cram into my tiny Nissan. Oh, and the organic farm that I get to run when I get back from Boulder ... currently barely able to differentiate between a rutabaga and a radish!
But soon I will be in the mountains just above Boulder, teaching little seedlings the basics of sustainability and swimming in a solar-heated pool. And, for you two-and-a-half loyal readers, I will have the time and sanity to really dedicate myself to this blog! Get ready to blog your eyeballs out! Or, well, maybe something less grotesque.
For now, I'd like to direct you to a beautiful local foodie family. The O'Daniels are an inspiration to me and will hopefully agree to be mentors on WKU's new farm next season. They never fail to provide the world's best omelet ingredients. Oh, and the plethora of mewing kitties that wallop you with lovin' while you're waiting for your bag of mesclun is definitely an added bonus. :)
