Photos: Mini-tour of fall in Maine

The fall colors have peaked; Maine is beautiful in autumn.

Around this time last year, I noted the beauty of Maine during the fall season. Nothing's changed this year — it's still gorgeous. Here are some photos I have taken near my house lately.

Natalie, you are very fortunate to have such beauty surrounding your home. My wife spent many years vacationing in Maine as a child and has told me dozens of times how magnificent Fall is. You are very lucky. The pic of the rhododendron is worth being painted in oil. In Oregon we are have an enormous number of these bushes and always find them pleasing. Our Japanese Gardens are full of these. We plan on visiting The Japanese Gardens for Veterans Day. Thanks for the view!
