Raytheon Company of Waltham is a technology leader specializing in aerospace defense and related supply systems.  Raytheon received the Energy Star Sustained Excellence recognition, honoring Raytheon's management program.  The U.S. Department of Energy honored the company for reducing energy use intensity by 5.3% in 2008, equivalent to $20 million in annual revenue.

The Joint Management Committee representing Massachusetts New Homes with Energy Star is a multi-utility effort that received Energy Star recognition for excellence in energy efficiency program delivery. The U.S. Department of Energy honored the company for exceeding its annual goal by 50 percent and constructing 1,466 Energy Star qualified homes.

National Grid, the leading utility in Massachusetts, has been named partner of the year for its Energy Star program which makes energy efficiency upgrades and thermal shell improvements more accessible and affordable.  The U.S. Department of Energy awarded the company for saving 67 Btu of energy through its Home Performance with Energy Star program in 2008.
Fall River wastewater treatment facility

The EPA awarded the Fall River Wastewater Treatment Facility with a regional Operations and Maintenance Wastewater Excellence award. The staff was recognized by EPA's New England Office for exceptional work in operating and maintaining the plant.
