MNN - Mother Nature Network

So, I've been kind of down recently.  It seems as though, no matter what we do, the world is just falling apart.  I am losing faith in our ability to turn things around...which is sad, really.  Maybe it's this weather getting to me -- constant rain, flooding and tornadoes in the Northeast, the biggest drought on record in Texas...it's crazy-making!  But someone sent this video to me on an email chain, and it really did restore my hope!  It's this great version of "Stand By Me," with video footage of people from all over the world singing and playing the song.  It's a testament to other people's hope that we can stand by each other and by our planet to really create change, and it certainly gets the point across!  I'm over here singing it myself...so come on, stand by me...it's our hope and our faith that we can restore this planet that will create real change.
