Nevada Energy Star Partners

The Nevada Energy Star Partners is receiving Energy Star Sustained Excellence, honoring their outstanding commitment in promoting Energy Star qualified new homes. These actions have increased consumer awareness of the Energy Star brand in the Las Vegas market to 90%.

Sparks United Methodist Church

The EPA awarded Sparks United Methodist Church with the Energy Star Award. Along with replacing light fixtures so that they are energy-efficient, the congregation has also reduced their water usage by 10 percent. In total, this represents a reduction in annual greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) of over 160 tons.

Energy Inspectors Corporation

Energy Inspectors Corporation of Las Vegas has been named Energy Star Partner of the Year. Energy Inspectors is an energy services company providing marketing, home energy rating and contracting services to builders, homeowners and utilities in four western states. The U.S. Department of Energy awarded the company for adding 63 new Energy Star builder clients and verifying nearly 7,000 homes in 2008.
