GreenBuildingsNY showcases the best of green business

On June 17 I had the opportunity to attend the GreenBuildingsNY conference in Manhattan, which is a yearly convention that showcases all of the up-and-coming green technologies and businesses around the country. Close to 300 different companies represented themselves at the conference and highlighted everything that they're doing to create environmentally sustainable products and services. Unfortunately, because of the massive number of companies in attendance, I'm not able to talk about every product, but I wanted to share some that I found most exciting.

All of the products showcased at the convention are aimed at helping individuals and businesses conserve energy, reduce costs and become more efficient. The products in the video are just a few of the impressive ideas that are being introduced. Some of the other interesting things that I came across include a 45 hour training program to educate building superintendents on efficient energy practices, and refrigerators that completely eliminate hazardous substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium.
