Hocking Valley Scenic Railway
Another great tradition in southeastern Ohio during the fall is to take Fall Foliage train rides from Nelsonville to Logan, Ohio. The trains run every Thursday and Friday in October as well as selected weekends, and the ride lasts about two hours through 22 miles of beautiful fall scenery. The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway also offers a Haunted Hills Ghost Train as well as a family-friedly Boo Train. This is a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon on a passenger train dating to the 1920s, listening to the history of the Hocking Valley.
