Cherry Street Farmers MarketTulsa's downtown farmers market is growing like a wildflower.By Natalie Deuschle, Local CorrespondentSun, Aug 08 2010 at 10:48 AM EST Photo: Natalie Deuschle This summer, I have frequented Tulsa's Cherry Street Farmers Market. I hadn't been to the market since I was in high school, and my first time back was such a treat! The market, which had been confined to a large parking lot on the corner of 15th Street, has expanded drastically and now takes up several blocks on the same street. Seeing Tulsa's growing enthusiasm for local farmers and their produce really brought a smile to my face. From young families and couples to senior citizens, the market truly has a varying crowd. The market is open on Cherry Street every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., April 10 through October 2.
Here are some photos I snapped on a recent trip to the market.
The market draws a large crowd early Saturday morning.
