Sunoco, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer, is receiving Energy Star Partner of the Year recognition for demonstrating a commitment to protecting the environment. They improved energy use intensity by 4% in 2008 across petroleum-refining operations, which represents 3/4 of the company's energy use.

Gorell Enterprises, Inc.

Gorell Enterprises has received Energy Star Sustained Excellence recognition. The company continuously strives to produce the most energy-efficient products available. The U.S. Department of Energy awarded Gorell Enterprises for increasing Energy Star qualified sales by 1.1% over last year's already impressive Energy Star qualified sales of more than 94%.

Drexel University

The EPA has selected Drexel University as a winner in EPA's fourth annual People, Prosperity and the Planet competition for an innovative biodiesel project created by Drexel students.
