Hurricane Irene leaves Philadelphia with swollen creeks and rivers
She didn't pack much of a punch in this region, but she did dump a lot of water.

While Hurricane Irene was a strong storm, she was nowhere near what forecasters predicted. What she did leave behind, though, was massive flooding and swollen creeks and rivers across the Philadelphia region. This video shows the Wissahickon Creek, a tributary of the Schuylkill River, as it crested Sunday afternoon.
