Foggy mornings

Fog may be a driving hazard, but as I walk to work in the morning it is just another sign that fall is rolling in.

Warm sunny fall days give way to cool fall nights. On Lake Marion, the water holds that heat from the day and continues to evaporate into the night where the cool air condenses the water droplets, creating a thick blanket of fog that creeps over our peninsula.
