Great fall weather on Galveston Island
Fall starts off with delightful weather along the Gulf Coast of Texas.

Galveston Island is experiencing some lovely weather for the start of its fall tourist season.
This photo shows a few Ike-damaged palm trees on the island's east end. Galveston has remained out of the path of hurricanes for the past two hurricane seasons and it looks to be in good shape, thanks to the rebuilding efforts since Hurricane Ike.
