Coal industry forges letters to Congress

In June, Congressman Tom Perriello received at least six forged letters from the lobby firm Bonner & Associates. The firm admitted to working for the clean coal industry. Letters were sent in opposition to the American Clean Energy and Securities Act, a cap-and-trade legislation which passed later that month. The letters contained forged signatures from two Charlottesville-based minority groups. This is not the first time Bonner & Associates has been caught for fraudulent acts. Apparently, they have quite a history.
