Seattle Lighting is being recognized for excellence in promotion of Energy Star qualified lighting. The company replaced approximately 28,000 showroom incandescent bulbs with Energy Star qualified CFLs, and recycled approximately 12,000 CFLs and linear fluorescent bulbs through an in-store recycling program.
The Bellingham, Wash., coastal community received EPA’s Green Power Partner of the Year Award for their continual effort to display national leadership in the purchase and support of green power. The community of Bellingham became the first EPA Green Power Community in Washington state.
Advantage IQ in Spokane, Wash. has been honored for Sustained Excellence for its green programs. The company provides outsourced bill payment, auditing, reporting and enhanced consulting services for multi-site companies nationwide.  Advantage IQ helped clients earn the Energy Star on more than 170 buildings in 2008.
