If you think you’re one of America’s best workers or know someone who is, you may be interested in the Brawny Industrial Great American Worker contest. Sponsored by Georgia-Pacific Professional, the contest is searching for American workers who have a strong safety record, a solid work ethic, top-notch productivity and still have time to be involved in their communities.

Nominations for the Great American Worker contest are open until June 30, 2011. To nominate a coworker or employee for the contest, simply fill out the online application form and include a short essay about why your nominee should be named the best worker in the nation.

To qualify for the contest, the nominee should be a legal resident of the United States or the District of Columbia, age 18 or older and a full-time employee of a manufacturing or industrial company. There are a few other requirements, so make sure to read the contest rules prior to submitting your nomination.

The winner of the Brawny Industrial Great American Worker contest will receive a brand new 2011 Ford F-150 truck. Three category winners will also be chosen, with each receiving a $3,500 cash prize. Nominations will be open until June 30, 2011.
