Biz Stone will speak at Greenbuild 2012 opening

Twitter co-founder "Biz" Stone and “Morning Joe” co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough will present the opening plenary address at the U.S. Green Building Council’s Greenbuild 2012, the world’s largest green building conference and expo.

“Sustainability is everywhere, and no longer is it an option for companies and individuals to ignore their footprints,” said Stone. “Collectively, we can make a profound social and environmental impact. I look forward to the ensuing discussion among the innovative crowd at Greenbuild.” Source: USGBC

Registration is now open for Greenbuild 2012, which begins on Nov. 14 in San Francisco. This year’s event is expected to bring about 35,000 attendees to the Moscone Center. Like last year, conference attendees will have a wide variety of educational workshops to choose from.

Additionally, this year’s conference will feature newly redesigned Master Series sessions as well as six different Greenbuild Summits:

National Affordable Green Homes & Sustainable Communities Summit
Green Jobs Summit
International Summit
Residential Summit
Legal Summit
Codes Summit
