Last week, the Center for American Progress announced that Van Jones would be rejoining their organization. In addition to getting back to work with green jobs advocacy, Jones will also be a distinguished visiting fellow at Princeton University’s Center for African American Studies as well as the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. In addition to these two new positions, Jones was also the recipient of the NAACP’s 2010 President’s Award, which was given at the 41st annual NAACP Image Awards last Friday.

So it is only natural that if Van Jones is back in the news, that Glenn Beck and the rest of the Fox News crew get back to their old Van Jones' bashing ways. So while Fox News bashed Jones and his receipt of the President’s Award, the Fox Network aired the NAACP Image Awards.

During Jones’ acceptance speech, he discusses the importance of green jobs including getting displaced autoworkers in Detroit back to work building wind turbines. Jones closes out his speech with a special message for Glenn Beck, “I see you, and I love you brother … let’s be one country…”

Well said.
