Green jobs fair in Los Angeles
AnsaldoBreda will host a green jobs fair on May 27, 2009.

Train builder AnsaldoBreda is hosting a job fair on May 27 to help fill as many as 2,000 green manufacturing and construction jobs. Keeping with the idea that the U.S. needs not only green jobs, but good green jobs, some of the positions will pay up to $55,000 per year.
“AnsaldoBreda, the world's oldest builder of trains, has proposed to locate and build both the company's American LEED certified manufacturing facility and its corporate headquarters in Los Angeles contingent upon the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority exercising its existing option for AnsaldoBreda to build 100 light rail vehicles (the MTA Board will be voting on May 28, 2009).” Source: Keep LA Jobs on TrackThe job fair is being co-sponsored by the L.A. County Federation of Labor, the AFL-CIO, and the Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (the host facility). The event starts at 3:00 pm at the college - 400 West Washington Boulevard. Is this the same company that the Danish railways referred to in a Press Release issued on May 20th ,2009:
"Let there be no mistake. The process has been unacceptable and there is every indica-tion that Ansaldobreda's poor performance is predominantly the issue here. Neither DSB's Board of Directors nor DSB's Corporate Management can comprehend how Ansaldobreda, having produced trains for more than 100 years, can fail in this way with a delivery"
