In this Fox News video, Phil Keating reports about the lack of green jobs available in Florida
and around the nation despite the fact that thousands of individuals have completed green jobs training programs. News flash: we’re in the middle of an unemployment crisis.
Florida’s unemployment is higher than the national average, nearly 12 percent in October 2010, and a lot of Floridians can’t find a job, not just those who completed a green jobs training program. However, those with high-tech skills are more likely to gain employment over their less-trained counterparts once employers starting hiring again.
So no, I don’t think you can say that the green jobs boom is a bust.
