Since MNN’s launch, the site has had a section dedicated to green jobs. However, the section has recently been redesigned to include many new features. Every Monday, I’ll be featuring a “Green Job of the Week.”  On Monday 6/15, I posted the inaugural featured job; Greenpeace USA is searching for a new Grassroots Director. Each week a new job opportunity will be listed. You never know -- one may just be in your neck of the woods.

 

Another exciting addition to the green jobs channel is a Q&A with green jobs expert Bronwyn Llewellyn. Llewellyn is the author of Green Jobs:  A Guide to Eco-Friendly Employment, and this week, she answered the following green jobs questions:

MNN has also partnered with JustSignal to incorporate a live Twitter widget into the newly redesigned green jobs channel. The widget highlights any tweets on green jobs or the green economy. However, this isn’t just your standard run-of-the-mill Twitter widget, this is an interactive real-time widget. You can log in to your Twitter account while browsing the MNN green jobs channel and chat with other tweeters about the latest in green jobs news.
