Businesses, consumers, media and others interested in green jobs have descended on Washington, D.C., for the 2009 Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conference
. The conference started with the Green Jobs Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. As part of its Advocacy Day activities, the Blue Green Alliance named House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as the first recipient of the Green Jobs Champion Award.
