Recycling saves green jobs
When Milwaukee residents recycle their products, instead of throwing them in the trash, they are helping the city's recycling plant employees keep their jobs, despite the tough economy.

In a recent “Going Green” segment by Jessica Gomez on Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s ABC affiliate WISN, Gomez discusses the importance of recycling. If city residents recycle their products, they not only divert tons of waste from landfills but they also keep the city’s recycling plant employees gainfully employed. In a time where unemployment rates are at a 25-year high, staying employed is not always as easy as it sounds.
