Virginia United Green will be hosting a green symposium on April 25, 2009 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia.  The symposium will have a little something for everyone – educators, consumers, small business owners, corporations, governmental agencies and more.

The conference starts with an opening speech explaining what “going green” really means.  The Green Job Alliance and the Green Career Center will join forces to lead a panel discussion on green business and career opportunities.

Other topics on the agenda include a presentation on green job training as a pathway out of poverty and how businesses can save money by going green.

Registration for the conference is only $25.00.  Registration begins at 7:30 am with the conference running from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The Hampton Roads Convention Center is located at 1610 Coliseum Drive.  For more information, contact Virginia United Green at (757) 817-3227.
