Do you recycle your waste? Do you consciously consume energy? Do you invest responsibly? That last question may be the most difficult one to answer but it isn’t impossible to align your investments with your values through socially responsible investing (SRI).
 
There are many myths surrounding green investing including the myth that SRI funds underperform. According to Goodfunds, many funds are competitive and good environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices “have been found to be a proxy for effective risk management and leadership” and SRI can actually mitigate investment risks.
