Community and technical colleges
across the country have received funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to create or expand green jobs training programs. These programs provide training for energy efficiency retrofits, weatherization projects, solar
installation and more.
Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport has a great weatherization training program
that was recently featured in a video by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The program at Pennsylvania College has laid the groundwork for six other training centers in Pennsylvania.
