The Obama administration has been serving our nation for one year. Over the past year, clean energy jobs have been identified as a way to help solve the economic and environmental crises our nation faces. Clean energy jobs also had a starring role in President Obama’s 2010 State of the Union address.
Recently, White House Cabinet members each took a few minutes of their time to record video recaps of their first year in office. I wasn’t surprised to see that clean energy jobs also made an appearance in a couple of these videos. During their recaps, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis and Energy Secretary Steven Chu touched on some of the clean energy projects that received support in 2009.
