Napa Valley’s HALL Wines is waiting on certification from the California Certified Organic Farms but while the company is waiting on the official word, they can celebrate their LEED Gold certification. Organic wine from a certified green building – sign me up!
Located in St. Helena, the facility is the first LEED Gold certified winery in California. A variety of eco-conscious features led to the gold certification including the use of radiant floors, 42,000 square feet of solar panels, locally sourced or recycled building materials, drought-tolerant plants, and other water conserving features.
The Napa Valley winery is hosting LEED tours on a daily basis through the end of August. Tours begin at 11 a.m. and you can make a reservation by calling (707) 967-2626.
