World Changing Careers symposium in Canada
Vancouver, B.C., will host 200 youth and 50 professionals at the World Changing Careers symposium.
The symposium begins July 23 and runs through July 27, 2009. Alysia Garmulewicz, a BC Rhodes Scholar, is organizing the event. “Over the next 10 years, 500 million young people will seek jobs that have the potential to redesign our political and economic systems. Now is the time to invest in new ideas and innovation. As Barack Obama says, ‘green jobs are the jobs of the future’,” Garmulewicz states.” Source: World Changing Careers (PDF)
